Best maternity hospital and delivery hospital? NHS

Can anyone advise me on their opinions on the best maternity hospitals please in the UK?
I've had some very unpleasant experiences of private hospitals and private care and feel that it's not properly policed. I only want to hear about NHS hospitals unless someone has a comparison of the NHS vs private which I'm also really interested in please?

It would be for a c section and ideally a hospital with a good urology department too.

Thank you

Epsom was brilliant, birth and the after care. I went there after recommendations from others who also spoke highly of the staff, hospital and care.

I also self-referred to the Chelsea and Westminster - less than a year ago. If policy’s changed it must be very recent.

Where were you living at the time?

My friend lived in Queens Park and self referred but was told they couldn’t accept her and she should go to St Mary’s instead...

The Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton. My daughter gave birth there in 2019 . The care was absolutely brilliant and every single health professional was kind , caring and amazing. The MW and student stayed with her throughout the labour and her community MW came in and delivered the baby on her day off . Anaesthetist was wonderful and she had epidural which my daughter was able to control dosage . It was absolutely perfect.
Oh and the view across Brighton and the sea was an added bonus!

Chelsea and Westminster in London, they were brilliant all the way through. It’s not out closest hospital, but we had no issues being seen there.

Tunbridge Wells hospital is fantastic - the whole place is only 10 years old so it’s all pretty new, and the postnatal ward is all private en-suite rooms. Can’t fault the care I had there.
