I'm 39 wks today with my second lo.
For the past few days I've been getting really uncomfortable pain in my groin, and in my bum cheeks (like there's a lot of pressure) Walking round Tescos last night and sort of felt like I needed a poo (sorry tmi) But it passed after a few minutes. Stomach went really hard quite a few times (took my breath away), and this lasted for about an hour. None of this pain is following any pattern - its really erractic.
Don't want to call the mw out and be told its another false alarm, (thought my waters had started to break on Saturday, but was just a lot of watery discharge) The mw was lovely and told me to ring if I had any questions.
Had started taking raspberry leaf tea last week, but have stopped because it was making my BH so painful.
Ds was induced so have no real experience of things happening naturally.
Is this the start of anything?

Hmm, your waters have broken, now you're getting pain and some noticeable contractions - Start timing how often you're getting stronger twinges, and work it out from there (waters breaking IS watery discharge, not always a gush). I'd ask MW for advice if they're coming regularly.

Sorry, don't think I explained myself properly. When the mw examined me, she said my waters hadn't broken.

It is the start but there could still be a long way to go yet.

check out Birthing Naturally to help you try to keep some perspective. It might still all happen tonight, who knows, but if you surf through all the buttons there I'm sure you'll gain some confidence about what your body is trying to do.

Stay strong and keep us posted please!

Thanks for the link.

Really don't want to build my hopes up, I know it could be a while yet
