Milton Keynes, Stoke Mandeville or Luton and Dunstable?

As it says in the title really. I'll probably be having a caesarean if it makes a difference. Second baby, they are about equal distances. Any experiences good or bad welcomed.

I personally loved Luton and Dunstable. The staff were lovely and I had a really positive experience.

I had both my dd's in the L&D midwife led unit. Both births were good experiences. No problems with the care there.

But, that's all relative as to how you birth. I've had loads of friends who've had CS, and they said the care was amazing too.

I had my DS1 at Luton and Dunstable and they were fantastic. Expecting DC2 in a few weeks and level of care from nurses/midwives/consultants there have again been of a high standard.

Also heard good things from a friend who was at Stoke Mandeville recently.

You must live in the same town/area as me as those were my three choices too. I went to Stoke Mandeville for my first and had a lovely experience there so have opted for it again in this pregnancy. The only downside of Stoke is that the journey from my home town to the hospital is hit and miss depending on what time of day you travel but tbh I think it's worth it when I was so pleased with my birth experience last time.

All my friends went to the L&D and I've heard nothing but positive stories. Milton Keynes hasn't had the best reputation in the past and that put me off however it may have cleaned up its act by now.

Both DC by EMCS at L&D. Can not fault the care.

I had DS at MK. Care in labour was fantastic but the postnatal wardrobe was crazy busy so we didn't get as much support with feeding etc as I'd have liked. I think that can be a problem everywhere though. I know quite a few women who had ELCS there and had good experiences.
