How long did you feel sick and have loose stools for before labor kicked in?

Iv been feeling sick since Tuesday evening, and had loose stools since 3am Wednesday. Iv barely ate and what I do eat comes straight through. Iv called my midwife and she said she thinks i will go into labor today as this generally doesn't last more than 48 hours at a push.... in 40+ btw!!!
What are other mums experiences with nausea and loose stools before labor?

I got the loose bowels Thursday last week and have had nausea off and on in that time. I've also had stop-start contractions, back pain and Braxton Hicks all week. (I'm 38+6)

So, fingers crossed you're starting in the next few hours/days but it hasn't been my experience so far

I had loose stools on and off for a while. I was 40 plus 10. On the day itself I had contractions first, starting 2am, then loose stools, could eat throughout while labour and was sick throughout. DD born 4.18pm x

I've had this for a few days now, nothing is happening though

I didn't have it at all. Except for the nausea, and that was morning sickness!

An hour or less... didn't feel sick.

I've had this since Saturday. Now 37+5. Had some Braxton Hicks but doesn't seem to be amounting to much at the moment...

(Which I'm quite glad about, as I'm back at work for a few days next week!)

I had loose stools Tuesday and not so much Wednesday, yesterday afternoon I lost my mucus plug and last night and today I've had nausea, headache, backache and period cramps. Rang the labour ward and she thinks I'm at the start of labour. Said to take parecetemol and ring back if gets worse and to also try and eat as I've lost my appetite. I'm 36+1

Iv had my baby and my mystery bug vanished lol I'm very hungry now and not pooping at all

Congratulations! I'm hoping I can wait until abit longer but I'd also be happy if my little man is ready now to arrive. Do you think he could make his appearance soon?
