Hello my DS's head was literally off the scale at 22 week scan. Everything else was about 50% and then his head was 100% plus. I was a bit concerned but he was born completely in proportion, two days before due date at 7lbs 8oz.

Hope this reassures you a bit! I did have to go for a couple of growth scans at 32 and 36 weeks and head size was normal then so I had stopped worrying by the time I gave birth. He slipped out very easily.

Oh dear I am so slow it took me a while to work out the "welcome to our cafe" line... It is DS's fave programme, he laughs out loud watching it. Forgot to say, although he was born with a normal sized head, by the time we went for our 8 month check it was huge again, 91st percentile, while rest of stats were about average!! His body is catching up now.

both DS's had big heads - they were 7lb 5oz and 7lb 11oz so not huge....but still have big heads (not disproportionately (sp) so but still big on the charts).

This one I'm pg with atm had a HUGE tummy.....but 'normal' sized head at the scan

My DC1's head was also "off the scale". Birth went really well until the final pushing part - 2 hours later still no baby (head too big) and I had to have an episiotomy. Wouldn't have wanted to be having a homebirth....
