I would realky appreciate them.
Im booked un to Arrowe park on 2.12 for my fourth c section after a horrendous and frankly traumatic experience with my third at Liverpool women's.
It was just a litany of errors from start to finish, basically they had the wrong blood type noted down as soon as i entered theatre (thank God i spotted it on the board) although they didnt believe that it was incorrect initially (!)
Then a novice anaesthetist did my spinal and couldn't place it correctly which wss agony.
Spinal wss ineffective so once my daughter was delivered they gave me s general anaesthetic as i was in so much pain.
I feel as if i was disbelieved and my every concern was minimised and dismissed. I didnt even receive a cursory apology.
The theatre staff told my OH that i was being hystetical despite the fact that id managed to havey two previous sections without resorting to hysteria 😡
Suffice to say that despite moving to another hospital whi ate aware of my fears i am absolutely bloody petrified.
Do any of you have any positive experiences of c sections which have gone well following negative experiences or when you've been scared but its all gone well?
Just anything at all to calm me a little?
Thank you if you got to the end of this.
