Has anyone given birth at Royal United Hosiptal in Bath? Is it any good?

I am 35 weeks with my second child and have just moved to this area and need to decide whether to give birth in the local hospital in Chippenham (which i have heard good things about, but is midwife led and so I can't have an epidural) or in Bath.
My first birth was a bit traumatic and I didn't have a nice time in the hospital - staff actually admitted they had forgotten about me whilst I was having contractions on the ward. So any advice would be gratefully appreciated. Thanks

My sil had one of her dc in Chippenham hospital and one in the RUH and says positive things about both. I've had experience of the Early Pregnancy Assessment Centre at the RUH and the staff there were completely wonderful to me, so if they're representative of the rest of maternity services at the hospital you'll be in excellent hands.

I have given birth in both Chippenham and Bath. Both experiences were different as my first child was breach so I had to go to Bath. I think the only problem with Bath is that they are that much busier and can't always give you the attention you need, where as Chippenham being that much smaller can spend the time with you and the staff are lovely. If it were me I would go for Chippenham
