Anyone give birth in bromley/chislehurst which hospital is best ?

HI guys,

Have an appointment with doctor on thursday and just wanted info regarding the local maternity hospitals near bromley and chislehurst. Do any have an active birth pool that you can use? Would just like some opinions as to which one to avoid (if any) and which are good! Am a bit nervous as I have heard some horror stories and now I am really confused...

I have 2 friends who tried for a home birth first time round. One gave birth at home, the other ended up being transferred. But they both had set out to labour at home, and that was positive regardless of one having to go in (ended up with c-section, but failure to progress rather than baby distress). I too ended up going in with second labour (was with bromley common group practice and no midwives were available - just one of those things, and partly because had v. quick second labour so was really a lastminute call to them to come out), but overall had an incredibly positive experience.
You can always change your mind.

Yeah thats what I figured, can always be transferred if necessary. Oh and have contacted zoe and shes booked me in for the yoga classes, am really looking forward to going
