How long ago was c section?

megletthesecond · 06/04/2016 17:51

Yes. I've had a small numb patch ever since.

Coldest · 06/04/2016 17:52

My numbness went away after a year. It gets better with time

cricketqueen · 06/04/2016 17:53

I was numb for the first 10 months or so. 1 year later and it feels completely normal.

crunchymummy · 06/04/2016 17:54

Pleasethankyou Section was 11 weeks ago :-) so will probably get better with time as it was only recent

Just had a prod at mine from 6 months ago and the sensation is back but it was definitely numb for a while.

That1950sMum · 06/04/2016 18:00

I think mine was numb for a year or so. Perfectly normal!

MrsHerculePoirot · 06/04/2016 18:03

Mine still has a number patch over six years later - don't think it always goes away.

Mine is numb 4.5 years later...

KanyesVest · 06/04/2016 18:07

Mine was a year or so too. The really odd bit was the lower half of my bum cheeks were numb too, like a weird line across my ass. Very disconcerting...

glintwithpersperation · 06/04/2016 18:13

Mine is still numb after 16 years!

RoomForASmallOne · 06/04/2016 18:15

14 years here and still have a numb area.

MYA2016 · 06/04/2016 22:27

I'm 12 weeks post emcs and am numb too... also very achey this week for the first time in about 6 weeks. Probably due to DS constantly booting me in the tummy every time he's on my knee Grin

pleasethankyouthankyouplease · 06/04/2016 23:04

Mine was numb for a while . Get a weird " nettle" type rash if wax near the scar even 6 and again 4 years on . I guess the nerves get damaged. Ask to see someone if you have concerns. Mind you- hark at me and my " advice" - I didn't go back and think they put my belly back a bit wonky.....Shock

pleasethankyouthankyouplease · 06/04/2016 23:06

Kanyesvest- what?? Numb bum?? Is it still numb?

AtSea1979 · 06/04/2016 23:07

Still numb after 7 years here!

hazeyjane · 06/04/2016 23:08

Nearly 6 years......still numb

melonribena · 06/04/2016 23:11

Mine was completely numb for about 18 months. Gradually came back but still have a small patch.

CodyKing · 06/04/2016 23:11

Great time to get your belly button pierced as you won't feel it!!!

Feels wired doesn't it?

melonribena · 06/04/2016 23:13

This appears to be one of those things that loads of women have but people don't seem to talk about it or warn you about!!

SaveSomeSpendSome · 06/04/2016 23:14

Mine is still numb nearly 4 years later

VenusRising · 06/04/2016 23:16

Still numb after 11 years in places, but with patches of cold across the top of the scar. Crash section here, so a big scar from a fast op.

Congratulations on the birth of your baby. Flowers

Ruhrpott · 06/04/2016 23:16

Still numb 23 years later in one section just to left of scar

AgathaMystery · 07/04/2016 23:10
