Debbsy - I agree with MKG - you'll go over the weekend as well..

(like Delivery Divas - you can almost see the adverts..)

sometimes darling...why ? how are you feeling satin??

lulumama · 08/12/2006 19:46

remember bugs are going around this time of year!

satinshoes · 08/12/2006 19:47

erm, bit sad earlier actually.

lower back ache

contrax about every 6-7 mins. had a bath and they are still there.

feel shivery

lulumama · 08/12/2006 19:52

ok...did you think you had lost your show / waters..or was that someone else??

Real labour..........regular contractions, time between them diminishes, often with backache and increasing in intensity.....also last around a minute...

if you are breathing though them ok and able to post on here !!! might be BH or early labour...when you are getting to the point of closing your eyes and needing to be in your own place. then that is more likely to be established labour!

lulumama · 08/12/2006 19:53

why sad ?

satinshoes · 08/12/2006 19:54

I lost a bit of waters on tuesday but hospital sent me home as said all sealed up again (?).

I had ketones in my urine as i've had bad cold cough and was told to rest as much as poss.

I've done that and feel much better.

Now contrax are lasting about 40 seconds every 6-7 mins. I can talk and breathe through them but they're starting to get more intense.

lulumama · 08/12/2006 19:56

ookkkkkkkkaaaayyyyyyyyyyy...

are you having a hospital birth ?

might be worth calling labour ward ! sick? diaorrhea?

satinshoes · 08/12/2006 19:56

sad because my DD was being really sweet and it hit me that not long until she wouldnt be my only LO.

lulumama · 08/12/2006 19:57

SAtin...(((hug))) that is sweet , no?

your first baby is always your little one ! even when they are 7 and very cheeky !

satinshoes · 08/12/2006 19:57

yes, hospital birth. but only 5 min drive away so not in a hurry to call them really.

Next door neighbour will come over to look after DD too so no worries there.

Not sure its enough to call them yet. Would hate to go in and it all be a false alarm.

lulumama · 08/12/2006 20:31

keep an eye on things....and you;ll know when it is time to go....listen to your body..and remember to eat lightly and keep up your fluids !

Rosydingdongmerrily · 08/12/2006 21:20

Satinshoes, I shiver in labour. First time I was in hospital and convinced they had no heating. Rest of my stay I was cooked in there. Now I know to wrap up warm for labour!

satinshoes · 08/12/2006 21:21

all slowed down now so will probably get a good night's sleep after all

lulumama · 08/12/2006 21:21

all gone quiet rosy...no debbsy, no satin......,more babies a-coming???

satinshoes · 08/12/2006 21:23

Night Debbsy. Sleep well.

I'm back after an exhausting day.

This is my first sit down since 7am. No kidding!

Well I sat whilst driving the car obviously, but I'm pooped.

So happy to see that NJ has George here all safe and sound.

Early night for me I think. I will sleep well knowing everyones ok now.

MKGnearlyimmaculateconception · 09/12/2006 00:48

OK I'm here for the night shift.

Satinshoes, I was shaking and freezing uncontrollably during labor. I was under 5 blankets in 75 degrees and freezing my ass off. My ds was born 7 hours later. They say that shaking is a sign of transitioning.

Good luck to you.

I shivered like mad... infact, maybe it was more shaking. It wore off once I was drugged up to the eye balls
