what gestation where your l.o's born (1st time mum's and subsequent ones)

Just find it interesting cos everyone says 1st babies are normally late, then after that they're normally on time etc. I seem to be a bit odd, my first was 37+2 then 2nd 38+4, third arrived at bang on 39weeks. What are the chances no4 will be even later?!

DC1 induced at 38+5 as he was estimated to be 9lb plus (came out 8lb 12oz)
DC2 spontaneous labour at 39+6

33+5 - abruption and induction (personally wouldn't recommend a premmie!)
40 - induced at term

38+3 and then 40+4

37+4 on Xmas eve and I was adamant I wouldn't have a Christmas baby!

40+13

37+6

29+4

Both didn't happen 'naturally'.

27 + 6 DD1 & DS1 - labour at 27+4, they tried to stop it but DD1 was having none of it!

39 + 6 DD2

DC1 (and only child atm)- waters broke 37 weeks exactly and he was born EMCS 37+2

DC1 38+5
DC2 40+6

41+3 DD1
41+2 DD2
40+1 DD3

41+6. Only baby and he weighed 10lb 4oz.

Ds1 almost 2wk over(induced)
Ds2 labour started due date, born 5 days later
Ds3 labour started 37+1 born 38 week.

I seem to labour verry slowly.
22wk with ds4 now, hoping I dont end up being induced late

42+1 (induced) and 10lb3!!

Lady same days over as you but mine was 11lb7oz! He didn't come the normal way it's safe to say!

40+6. I had pre-eclampsia and was waiting in the hospital for an emergency induction, but went into labour on my own during said wait. Personally I think I'd already been in pre-labour for awhile before that, maybe a couple of days, as my Braxton Hicks had been relentless all weekend (taken to hospital on Monday afternoon, DD born on Tuesday morning). But that could've been the pre-eclampsia.

My 1st was born on his due date. I'm currently 31 weeks pregnant so watch this space

37 dd2 (think my body had had enough by then)

DD and DS both 39+5 almost to the hour! I'm not having a third but it really would have been interesting if I could maintain the pattern!!

I know several people who've had the same day for both. Also based on people I personally know I am not convinced at all by the first babies being later stuff.....

Unless someone has an elcs for subsequent ones

40+12 - I'd had two sweeps and had to have my waters broken before she'd make an appearance - but labour was well underway when the waters were broken. 1 hour between the ARM and DD being born (rather quickly - she dived out without a pause between head and body).
