am 40 weeks today and due to see obstetrician on Thursday. would very much like to discuss all options fully (I know she's dying to get me booked in for a 2nd c-section) and have no idea how to say 'membrane sweep' in French.
can any of you lovely ladies out there help?

ok, so I can definitely confirm that it's 'décollement des membranes'. And it's just aswell I did mention it to her because she was planning on doing that anyway. I wasn't even going to be consulted

other than that, rdv went well. baby still quite high up but cervix getting shorter so at least I know that all these contractions are doing some good! have to go in for monitoring every day from Sunday so here's hoping things kick off before then

Yikes - just as well indeed! I know women who've had that happen here in UK, too.

Sending labour vibes for the weekend, good luck!
