I'm thinking of a vest top or a t-shirt and maybe a sarong of some sort? I don't really want to be naked and j do t want my bum and that out really. What did you wear for your water birth?

reporting back seen as i got to do it last night Xmas Grin
i didn't wear my tankini in the end, i wore a loose nightdress/cami that was low cut but covered my bum. just kept it up when they had to monitor me. Whipped it off at transition stage but i was at home so fairly comfortable

I took a bandeau crop top into hospital with me in case I wanted it but I just went in naked, I wasn't bothered although I did say to the midwife "is it ok if I go in naked?!" Grin I actually think I felt more comfortable being naked in the water than I would have done being naked just like on the bed as although the water is obviously see through it gives some illusion of being covered iyswim!

I didn't wear anything and esp wouldn't have wanted a big garment flapping about cold and soggy (you might want to think about that). Like someone else has said I found the deep water quite protective in itself, but if you don't want to be naked there's not reason why you should be! Personally I think I would go for a stretchy vest or some such non-billowing top. Maybe bikini bottoms with side ties so you can rip them off when it's time to push?

Sorry Mythical, I didn't read all the way down! Congratulations!
