If you lost your show, how long after did you go into labour??

I am 40+5 today, and I finally had a successful sweep yesterday. Woke up this morning to a delectable mucus plug. It's like your cervix gobbed at you. Anyway, I was wondering if any of you ladies could tell me how quickly after this you went into labour/if you even did or could it be an unnatural result of my midwife's helpfully rooting around?? I am obviously hanging on the edge of my seat here!

Contractions started 1am. Lost plug about 5am. Had baby 1am the next day. So my contractions started before I lost the plug.

I thought the mucus plug and the show were 2 different things. I didn't see any plug at all, but I had a bloody (light brown) show. I've heard of people having several plugs as they replace themselves if you don't go into labour.

Anyway, my show was approximately 20 hours before the contractions started with my first baby. I was 41 weeks exactly, no sweep.

Mucus plug was coming away in bits, from 20 something weeks (this grows back)
Bloody show started coming away again in bits, around 2wk prior to labour although each time i lost abit it got more bloodier...started about 36wk had him at 38wk.

Ds2 was bloody from 38+5 went into labour on due date.

Ds1 never had a bloody show until I was induced, I lost mucus plug after my sweep, but nothing come from it.

Had my baby on friday 28th, a beautiful little girl :) so 2 days really. So happy, it was all in the nick of time, went into natural labour while waiting to be induced!!!
