Waters trickling since 4:30am but no contractions

This is DC2. With dd I had contractions for a few hours, my waters broke and she was born about an hour later.

I'm 40+2 and would love another homebirth... Think I'm just going to text my midwife and see what they say but am so reluctant to get induced if nothing happens......

Have sent DH off to work (luckily he's v local today) and dd is going to nursery as normal for the morning - they are on standby to have her for the afternoon too if necessary.

Please try not to be too down about it all. I guess baby is just not ready for their grand entry into the world. Waiting is so hard to do but maybe if you can get some sleep, the time will pass. Easier said than done I know. Wishing you well.
