If I promise that this isn't going to be an 'is this it thread'...

Am pg with ds3/dd1, had no braxton hicks with ds1 and confused braxton hicks with ds2 as onset of real labour, went to hospital and even fooled one MW into thinking I was in labour.

Am getting stranges twinges at the bottom of my bump, quite regular, slightly painful but nothing that takes my breath away, also the odd sharpish pain is lower back. Does this sound like BH to you?

Perhaps I shouldn't have put this in childbirth topic?!? It's not like I'm enormous and ready to get this over and done with or anything...

Hi,
I am 31 weeks pg with ds4 and I have runs of braxtons hicks accompanied by a type of period pain aswell. Sometimes it really feels as if the baby is pushing down very hard.
I think with each baby the bh's have become stronger and stronger and have started earlier and earlier.
But I would keep an eye on the situation, and time them in case this is really it!
Sorry, am not much help!

Thanks kdinas, that reassures me that BH could be starting so early!
