Having a section in 2 days and am very nervous!! Any positive stories are VERY welcome. I've had such great support thus far and just need a little more to push me through to the very end! Hmm

You poor love. I can't imagine what you must be feeling.

Take some comfort in that you know they have said she'll be fine x

congratulations, sorry to hear she is unwell, my first spent a while in nicu and it did get a bit easier after a day or two, hope you manage to get discharged so you can be in the same place as her ASAP, wishing you both speedy recoveries

Wow johul that came round fast (I remember your previous threads). Glad that she's out and a god weight. Sorry she's having a blip. Fingers crossed you're with her ASAP. Are you now in different hospitals? Or have you been discharged?

Congrats johull on your baby! I'm sorry to hear she's poorly at the minute, I've been there too, my son was in neo natal after birth and it's heartbreaking- however he is now a very healthy active 4 year old!!

I found it very strange to see him in neonatal as he was a big 8lb baby and was surrounded by little premature babies, he looked like a giant! X

As had to go to St. Peter's as she was on a ventilator unable to really breathe for herself! It's been 11 days since she was born and we are now home. I feel like all my dreams have come true. I can't stop looking at her now I can finally pick her up, cuddle her her and feed her. Not being able to even touch your baby for the first 3 days is horrible and I wouldn't wish it upon anyone x

lovely news. I found the upside of NICU was that i got undisturbed nights and recovered really well from the CS. Small compensation for the trauma though!. So glad she is doing well, welcome home!
