Hi I'm new to Mumsnet and I have searched for info on the above hospital to no avail. Has anyone got any personal experience of this hospital ? I've only been for a scan and have not had a tour of the maternity unit. We have Parentcraft classes booked in Nov (I'm due Xmas Eve) that includes a tour. Thanks, any info appreciated.

No but I had some antenatal appts there - moved to Australia before 2nd baby born. Dh used to work for Mid essex trust( for a number of years) - have heard good things about it. Dd1 had lots of paed appts there - staff always very friendly, docs fab and very helpful.

Sorry can't tell you anymore but did not want you to feel ignored.

have not heard anything bad about it.

Both my nieces were born there, my brother and SIL had nothing but praise for the care they received throughout the pregnancy, labour and postnatally.

Thank you and thank you. I will probably book a tour sooner than Nov 18th to see for ourselves, not that appearances are everything, but if it's clean that's a big deal ! I guess I'm in line now for someone to tell me what they didn't like !
