Exactly that, second pregnancy, didn't have any with first either... I'm mystified as to what I'm meant to be looking for as to signs

With first pregnancy didn't get any and went straight into full on labour at 41 weeks, now 39 weeks and not had any this time either - anyone else experienced this?

Yes, I’m having them all the time. I’m 39 weeks. Can be quite painful. Like a spasm that wraps round the bump making it really tight. Makes me feel sick and my bowels move. Seem to be set off by heat/dehydration and caffeine. Had them all of yesterday afternoon/ thought it was baby time. But totally settled now.

Had a couple with my first pregnancy (always when hoovering) and had to be induced when waters went first, none so far with this one.

Nope, me neither. Well, I didn't feel them, let's put it that way. Where I am you get monitoring every week from about 25 weeks or so, and sometimes DD would move quite vigorously quite suddenly. Apparently because of BH. Could feel the movement, but not the BH.

Had to be coaxed out too.

I certainly didn't have any in my first pregnancy. Nothing at all. First thing I felt were the period-type cramps of early labour. I'm only 1st trimester this time, but will be interested to see if I have any this time. I guess it's like the say, every pregnancy is different so I guess not everyone gets them.
