King George Hospital, Goodmayes, Essex. Vbac?

I have had two emergency c-sections,
and am now pregnant with my fourth.
Has anyone had a successful vbac there, or should I consider changing to another hospital?

Dont live near you but have had a VBAC2 and personally I would recommend a home birth where you are guaranteed to have one to one midiwfe care and will be able to relax properly in your own environment.

If you dont mind me asking why did you have two sections?

My sister is due in October KG, she was given an appointment with her consultant who wanted to discuss her having a VBAC (che had an emergency c-sec last time).
Sis said that the consultant was really lovely and his main priority was to dispel any fears she might have had about having a VBAC this time round.

KG is where I had both my babies and I must say the midwives who delivered my babies were really great, they made sure they knew what I wanted and followed my wishes exactly....

If you're worried why not ask for an appointment with your consultant to discuss it??

Well, I saw the registrar yesterday, and it was the same woman involved with my previous attempt(ha!) at vbac.
She told me the hospital protocol was that I had to have another section, blah blah!
So I told her I disagreed. The woman actually tried to convince me that my uterus won't beabe to stretch past 37 weeks, and I need to have another c-section then. I asked her for evidence, she didn't have any, just kept telling me it ws better for me and baby.
I refused that, and said I would not entertain having my baby at 37 weeks, and taking the risk of breathing problems,unless life or death.The woman kept repeating herself, on and on, the midwife intervened at that point to remind her that it was my choice, and that I was obviously well informed, and knew what I was doing.
So then, I told her I believed it possible that I could deliver this baby vaginally, and that I intended to do so.
I think she almost burst a valve.
Well, at least they know not to keep bothering me about it.
My first two sections were for fetal distress and failure to progress, i.e. failure to progress within their time restrictions and shift changes, and well it was the weekend, after all!
I don't know why I am choosing the same hospital, I think I feel it is a personal crusade I have to go on, for me and the other women out there!
