Waterbirths - what do you wear?

Am expecting 2nd baby and midwives now recommending trying a waterbirth, as it wasn't an option for me first time... Sounds a silly question but I'd really like to know what other people wore during a waterbirth? Not sure I'd feel comfortable being totally naked but then I don't know what works best... and then having clingy wet clothes too... what did you do?

I plan to have a waterbirth and have packed nothing at all to wear in the pool. I plan to go naked as my boobs being out is nothing compared to what they will be looking at. Its a bit weird as I am normally quite shy about these things but being pg has really released my inner confidence.

I wore a maternity tankini top hitched above my bump, didn't see the point in wearing bottoms. I got out (reluctantly) after 4 hours as I had only progressed 2cm and then as I was getting ready to go back in at 9cm my waters broke and there was meconium so I wasn't allowed back in. I had already been warned not to aim for a water 'birth' as many factors can get in the way, but to aim to use the water for pain relief at some point.

I couldn't stand clothes in the end, it all came off!

T-shirt and knickers.

Both times.

Knickers came off just before crowning.

After birth needed to then be totally naked to breastfeed in pool.

I am a total prude and wore a fitted vest top. For some reason mw kept asking me if I wanted to take it off. Absolutely adamant I did not.
