Where were you when your labour started?

With my last 3 babies, I went into labour during the night, at home, in bed. I am hoping that the same thing happens this time around.

Was it the same for you?

DD1 - 4am, at home in bed

DD2 - 7am, at home, in bed

I was in Ikea, in the restaurant. I had just stood up to get more ketchup to have with my chips and I felt the contraction. I knew it was a proper one as I'd had loads of braxton hicks and this was different.

with dd1 i was in bed got woken by them late night :)

dd2 i woke up at 41 weeks with contractions aswell that was morning

expecting dc3 now in 5 weeks so we will see

At home both times

DD1 in the bath at home, around 8am.

DD2 in hospital late evening after induction because waters had gone 24 hours earlier but no labour.

Not sure when mine started. My latent phase lasted five days too.....

Our dd was late and someone suggested that there was perhaps something that I should have done that was subconsciously holding me back,
So my first contraction was when my boss and his partner rang the door bell to come to pre Christmas dinner.... They come every year but we'd postponed it as I was due.....
By the time they were leaving I was up to 1 in 10 minutes, as soon as they were gone I went straight to 3 in 10 lol

In hospital with a pessary up my fanjo

In bed at home , in bed at hospital, as soon as I got out of bed at home. Fab.

In bed asleep all 4 times.
