Dr Guy Thorpe Beeston vs Dr Karl Murphy vs Dr Etienne Horner? Need to pick one fast!

Anyone with recent experiences with the following drs....I need to pick one this week and all seem great!any advice helpful. I have already selected Lindo wing as the hospital at St Mary.

I had Guy Thorpe Beeston perform some scans last year and he was lovely If I were to get pregnant again and my usual obs was not available I would opt for him. A friend had him for both her pregnancies and was delighted.

I had DD at the Lindo Wing with Dr. Horner and am now 33 weeks with DC2, and I'm using him again. I have absolute faith in him from the medical perspective. On a personal level, he is pleasant and non-alarmist.

i give thumbs up to karl murphy at the Lindo- i haven't had my baby yet but he was great at getting us through a toxo scare and came highly recommended by several of my friends....

I am under Guy TB as an NHS patient and he has been lovely and very clear in his explanations. We have seen him a few times due to bad screening results followed by other problems, he always takes time with us and is generally very professional and charming.

I'm scanning with Guy, who was recommended by my own consultant and he's been excellent. Very thorough and professional, but also kind and patient. He has a very good reputation. I would have no hesitation choosing him as my consultant if I weren't already with someone else (who is also excellent, but doesn't do scans).

Hi Panickypants (your username could describe me very well!) I'm with Roshni Patel at Chelsea and Westminster Kensington Wing. She's wonderful! V glad I chose her. Don't think she consults from the Lindo, but I may be wrong. Good luck!

I went with William dennes at lindo. Wouldn't hesitate to go back.

I've just had my first baby with Guy Thorpe Beeston at the Lindo-would highly recommend him.

We met with Etienne Horner having been recommended by friends. His secretary was unbelievably inefficient, sending us for emergency scans when it was too early for them to actually accept us, invoicing the wrong people etc so not a great start. We then felt that the consultation was extremely rushed and not thorough at all. He was in such a rush we were barely able to ask questions and felt that his "bedside manner" / general set up was cursory, impersonal and badly run. We had no follow up email after our consultation with advise on future scans / important dates etc and am just glad that we decided to try Guy Thorpe Beeston instead.

We found Guy to be thorough and attentive. Very professional but also reassuring. His secretary was efficient and his office far nicer (not that that really matters) but the scanning facility and people doing it downstairs was very good and made for a pleasant experience.

Unfortunately he was going to be away too close to our due date to continue with him but he recommended Tariq Miskry who works from the same office who we decided to proceed with and who, so far, we are very happy with.
