Would love to hear experiences, as think I had show last night and with DD it heralded labour. I know it can be ages beforehand tho. What's more common? Due date today...drumming fingers, mother on phone et cetera...!

Wow Spots how exciting. Smile With me I was already fairly sure that I was in labour (ie serious contractions) before I had a show both times. Post again if anything comes of it.

Had my show the early hours of the morning with my first child and gave birth 2 days later after hideously long labour.
Had my show about 11am with my second child, gave birth 8pm, much much nicer.

Good luck and keep us posted.

thanks everybody, still no contractions or anything but feel lots of heaviness. Hopefully the baby will just clank out in the middle of the night.Grin

Show at 2.00 pm (waters broke at 4.15 am, contractions started at 10.30 am), gave birth at 11.59pm. Hopefully it won't be long for you now.

How annoying. Well good luck when things finally start to get going. Have you heard anymore from Ponka?

Spots - I started with regular contractions on a Thurs night, then they stopped for about 6hrs, then started again, then stopped, then started. I eventually went into established labour on the Sunday am! It is so frustrating, I know!!!
