Just woke up and this was first job to look at - congratulations to mr and mrs nickel and welcome baby nickel. Glad she got her HB even with a big ouch.

Huge thanks to friends for keeping us all updated and well done to the MWs who must have done a sterling job considering a twice wrapped cord and a hand in the way! Worth more than anything the NHS pay them to cope with a situation like that.

Congratulations to family Nickelbabe! A beautiful little girl for you to snuggle up with - welcome to world Isbn you have lots of new friends here! And go Nickelbabe hb team - well done on all your support hope you get a bit of sleep after such a dramatic day.

Goodness me! Masses of congratulations to all of the nickel clan and I hope mum is recovering now. That must have been so sore, scary and exhausting but so glad to hear a gorgeous girlie arrived safe and well. Yay!

Hope the trip to hospital was all right and that you are back home again now. I had to be sewn up in theatre after DS was born and that was enough of a shock to me after the dim lights of the delivery suite.

As usual my thoughts it was a boy were wrong and hence why my prediction of girl was right.

I got up to go to the loo at 2.50 and checked progress. Was pleased to see you had delivered but not with it enough to post. Was also aware that DH would think I was mad!
