I gave birth on three birthing stools (sitting on one and feet up on two which were higher than the one of sat on) - midwife between legs.

Undignified but had him within 30 secs of getting in this position (previously on all fours).

I recommend it!!!!!!!

GO FETCH THE BIRTHING STOOLS NICKEL FRIEND!! GO GO GO GO!!!!

CarolCervix · 11/12/2011 20:16

DH just asked how things wre. Grin

ConfessionsOfATinselFanjo · 11/12/2011 20:16

Grin at Nickel telling all of us she's grumpy.

Isbn will soon be in your arms and this will all seem like a very very vivid dream (and I can go back to paying attention to my DH).

@WeThreeKingsOfMardyBra

RebeccaMN - haven't MNHQ sent a delegation to report back?

We sent a 'My First Christmas' teddy bear to try and tempt ISBN out this week, I think it worked and thanks for waiting for me ISBN, would've been gutted to miss your arrival Grin

@HoneydragonAteCliffRichard

If HQ are all on here who the hell is running Mnet? Xmas Grin

I'm not 'officially' working atm so can f5 to my hearts content

Northernlurker · 11/12/2011 20:16

I'm definately cured of broodiness because whilst I'm sat here rooting for nickel and of course ISBN will be lovely but I have no urge whatsoever to reproduce ever again. Been like that since about 3 minutes after beautiful dd3 arrived (together with my third episiotomy....)

OnlyWantsOne · 11/12/2011 20:16

Bet there is a baby right now in Nickel's arms Grin

HighHeidYin · 11/12/2011 20:17

openerofjars · 11/12/2011 20:18

DH complained I was hurting his thumb. I said, "Really? Good!" and gave it a twist. Blush Apparently.

MadamTwoSwords · 11/12/2011 20:19

I really need a shower before DH cooks dinner. (sausage sandwiches so I can eat one handed and MN)

Sod it I will have to dry shampoo my hair and put it up tomorrow. Smile

ScatterChristmasCheer · 11/12/2011 20:19

It's the little dimples under the fingers that get me.

TheOriginalFAB · 11/12/2011 20:19

I had mewlers Grin.

JKSLtd · 11/12/2011 20:19

A birthing stool is never ever darkening my door again - tried it with DS1, torture!

Made that very clear with the MWs when pg with the other 2.

Bet she's had it now, what did you have Nickel??? get Friend to update we're all desperate to know.

Akiram · 11/12/2011 20:19

I think Nickel is all snuggled up with ISBN and the pain is already forgotten Grin

2gorgeousboys · 11/12/2011 20:21
