Sparkling, generally there a contractions and a quick update from the hospital 24 hours later. They are not generally THIS exciting. The helicopter airlift one is the best one I recall.

Have made popcorn. Literally. And given it to Ds1,2,&3 who are now plonked infront of Elf in channel 4, so I can constantly refresh this thread. Go Nickel go! I reckon the next 20 mins or so, friends will all be busy so silence should be a sign.

I've been on this thread since half four this morning. Didn't give my own girls' births as much attention.

The rest of my family are at a carol service, so I can sit on this thread for the moment, but don't be too long as they'll be back soon and want to talk and stuff.

My Dd was supposed to arrive on Dec 19th 5 years ago, but instead turned up after Christmas on Boxing Day....So I'm ous that nickel is going to have a brand new bundle for Christmas .

Takes me back 16 years - it is my daughter's birthday on Wednesday, December babies are wonderful.

yes Nickel, it also helps with the christmas decorations, our decs don't go up until after dd's birthday!
