Am going to be induced tomorrow and was wondering if they keep you in until the baby's born or are you allowed to go home whilst the pessaries work their magic?

Good news. I was only 14 hours from first (and only) pessary to delivery. (pains really kicked in about 6 hours after pessary.)
Don't let them send your birth partner home if you can help it (unless, I guess, you are sure that nothing is happening) My DH was at home in bed asleep for most of my labour as the night duty midwife would not ring him!!

Good luck....lots of calming and pain relieving vibes wafting your way.........

My mate went into labour on the morning that induction was scheduled to begin....it could still happen for you!
