so I can try and make mine break Grin Wink

Just wondered if there was a 'common' time or place...

Mine broke into a trickle after a sweep with dc1, I'm due my second on Saturday and wish they would break themselves this time, I want a big gush and then contractions... Tonight please :)

We've also moved away since and I miss that cafe too!

DS - just as i was getting into bed. I had watched "The Terminal" on TV, got into bed, saw clock change from 11:29 to 11:30 and WHOOSH!!

Made it into en suite somehow without getting bed or carpet wet.

Went to hospital, they sent me home, contractions started on way home, went back a few hours later. DS born by emCS at 6:27, 6hrs 58 mins from water going. 9 days early.

DD - I'll let you know in 6-10 weeks Smile.

All over my husband's mercedes as I screamed my face off...in labour telling him to drive faster to hospital. It was a lot of water!

Had first push in car out front...wobbled upstairs, baby born 20 min later.

I woke up at 3am for a wee - started to sit up and then gush. My first thought was oh no I've wet myself! Then as it kept gushing out I realised and shouted at hubby for the towels!

We to the loo and had a cramp and thought this it it! But it wasn't and I had to be induced 36 hours later and had a very quick labour and DD was born on her due date :)

Shuffling around in bed to get to sleep as I was still awake at 5am. I heard a pop and a slight gush of water came out and thought I had wet myself. Went to the hospital in the afternoon as I was still leaking.

Another one here who thought I'd wet myself. Had been told by mw that it could still be a couple of days and to try and rest so went to bed at 7am and woke up just before 10am and did the funniest run waddle ever to the loo splashing about everywhere. So much water, I ended up just sitting on the loo contracting as every time I moved more came out. Ds was born just under 8 hours later.
One thing I've been told since is that contractions hurt more after your waters break, and they did for me, so be careful what you wish for but good luck and hope it happens soon!
