Having finally decided that this is the only way forward, unless I want to go it alone (dh will have to stay with ds), I'm now impatient to find a good doula. I've looked on a few websites, but you cant beat a personal recommendation. And I've only got 10 1/2 weeks till d day!
I know this is a really boring question, but I'd really appreciate any info.

I'm in Whetstone, N20, and the birth will either be at Barnet or Chase Farm depending if it goes to c section again or not. Where is Pupuce? I didn't think she was around here?

have you looked on the doula network website. i found a very good doula through this site - I can personally recommend! (her name is Stacia Smales-Hill, i think she would only cover central London but might be worth giving her a call to check) and she may be able to help point you in direction of a good doula in your area
hope this helps (adn is not too late!)

Hi Ixel. I also live near Whetstone and I am due to have my third child in December. Having 2 other children and a self employed husband I thought some support would be useful. I am due to have my baby at Barnet and I have found a wonderful doula on the Doula UK website. Her name is Jameella and you can contact her via www.jameella.com. I am sure she will cover your area as I live just behind Oakleigh Park Station. She has been so helpful already and she is also willing to help after the birth. I could not recommend her highly enough. Hope that helps!

Humz this thread is a year old. I suspect Ixel has had the baby by now .
