currently 32+3 with ds1 and what seems like forever to go. Just wanted to see roughly the time most people seem to go into labour/give birth?

how many weeks were you?

40 wks

Wanted to be on target so decided to stretch out first stage for a couple of days, great idea...

42 and a couple of days! Even then she wasn't engaged but was merrily wedged somewhere up by my ribs. After 2 days of the gel/pessary without so much as a twinge never mind a full on contraction, then about 14 hours on the drip taking me to 2 cm dilated and DD still refusing to move towards her nearest exit I thought I was going to be pregnant forever! God bless the surgeon who finally hauled her out.

40+10 after an induction. Normally I am quite a punctual person but certainly did not manage this one on time :-)
It was an agonising wait, especially after the midwife made me feel as if things were starting very soon when DS's head was quite deeply engaged at 35 weeks.

Whatevs · 13/04/2011 12:40

42+5 with my first!

4pudding · 22/04/2011 19:38

37+2.

Second one is obv too comfy though as 38 weeks and still tucked up with no signs of anything happening soon...

davidtennantsmistress · 22/04/2011 19:54

38+6, never got to the 'i've had enough stage' as i'd worked right until 38 weeks. felt a bit short changed really- REALLY REALLY hoping i'm not short changed again. lol.

Trinaluce · 22/04/2011 21:57

FessaEst · 22/04/2011 22:03

41+2 - longest 9 days of my life!

Am hoping this one is a bit more punctual.

MorningCoffee · 22/04/2011 22:09

39+4 when labour started, 39+5 when birth happened, DD was born in the early hours of the next day despite me being reassured by midwife at teatime on the first day that I would have a baby that day!

Waters broke at 30 weeks I eventually gave birth at 32+2!

chocadoodle · 25/04/2011 21:56

40+3 (labour started 40+1)

DS 7lb 14oz

Your last few weeks will fly by if you keep making plans as usual. If you put your life on hold it will seem like ages.

QueenAbcinthiaXVI · 26/04/2011 09:11

39+3

Rev084 · 26/04/2011 09:45

34 EMCS with no.1, no labour. Currently 37wks with no.2, he's been head down for weeks, is 4/5 engaged and hope lots of walking over bank holiday has pushed him down further. My mum never went to term with us three so hope I follow her, no way can I go to 42wks.
