currently 32+3 with ds1 and what seems like forever to go. Just wanted to see roughly the time most people seem to go into labour/give birth?

how many weeks were you?

41 + 3! Waters broke but still ended up being induced at 41 + 5!

breatheslowly · 04/04/2011 23:03

40+15 - induction started on 40+12, dragged out screaming at 40+15. No one I know in my "baby circles" went before 40, but DD hung on longest.

CalmInsomniac · 05/04/2011 15:36

Went into labour late evening 41+6 and gave birth early morning of 42 weeks exactly. DD born 30/12 so massively overdue all over christmas Angry

LunaticIsOnTheGrass · 05/04/2011 18:39

DS1 & DD both came on their due dates, DS2 was 39+3.

jimmycarr · 05/04/2011 20:10

Bang on his due date

CPtart · 05/04/2011 20:39

40 + 5. Waters broke, DS made an appearance 24 long tortuous hours later!

kirrinIsland · 05/04/2011 20:46

39+2

nitnatnaboo · 05/04/2011 21:40

Started 40+11, born 40+12. Spontaneous labour, escaped induction by 2 days!

mondayschild · 05/04/2011 21:53

41+6 (by 4 hours - induced on 41+5)

IwishIwasmoreorganised · 05/04/2011 21:54

42 +5 - was induced in the end.

Sorry OP - probably nt want you want to hear!

went into labour on my due date, DD was born by EMCS early the next morning. When my contractions started, I was thinking "But it's my due date - they can't be, no one goes into labour on time!". Grin

Lauzifer · 07/04/2011 13:10

40 weeks exactly which was suprising considering i'm usually late for everything.

Elsjas · 07/04/2011 14:33

Waters broke at 12.02 am on due date. Baby born 12 hours later. Was huge surprise as everyone said that first babies are usually late.

lalilu · 07/04/2011 14:39

41 weeks & 40+4d Very impatient with the first & could have stayed pregnant with the 2nd. They're much easier to handle inside than out

sayanything · 07/04/2011 14:42

40+4. I was induced as I was leaking amniotic fluid, so I guess it would have only been a day or two more in any event. But I share your pain, those last few weeks (in the middle of a heatwave) were a bloody nightmare.

malteser1981 · 07/04/2011 16:10

40 on the dot. Spontaneous onset, I was sooooo chuffed but unprepared as expected to go overdue as it was my first!

turningvioletviolet · 07/04/2011 18:35

31 + 3! Now that was a surprise - most people at work still didn't have a clue!

eavers · 08/04/2011 22:46

36+1

Mumwithadragontattoo · 11/04/2011 23:57

With DC1 I was 40 on the dot for both labour and birth.

With DC2 I went into labour at 39+6 and he was born on due date too!

iskra · 12/04/2011 08:50

42 with DD.

We'll see for this one!
