currently 32+3 with ds1 and what seems like forever to go. Just wanted to see roughly the time most people seem to go into labour/give birth?

how many weeks were you?

41+6. Induced. Easy as anything labour though.

Second baby born same day, but I think actually 42+3 by my dates.

Lainey1981 · 04/04/2011 18:30

Went into labour 40+6 delivered 41+1

FannyLogan · 04/04/2011 18:33

Metalhead · 04/04/2011 19:44

39+1 (following 2 days of pre-labour), DC born 39+2.

LCRLCR · 04/04/2011 19:47

41+6 8lbs3

MagnumIcecreamAddict · 04/04/2011 20:05

40+13, just escaped induction!

Got really fed up of waiting and did some googling to find out about average gestations - it turns out that the average gestation nowadays for a caucasion women having a first baby is actually 41+3, which at least made me feel like it wasn't just me!!

Hang on in there, the last few weeks are rotten!

NoWayNoHow · 04/04/2011 20:11

I was 40+4 when I went into labour, and 40+6 when DS was born.

If they'd left my EDD as it was before my scan, he would have been a day early!

Rootle · 04/04/2011 20:11

40 + 6 was desperate not to be induced & luckily he arrived on his own. Was terrified of giving birth so wasn't wishing away the last few weeks.

Jojay · 04/04/2011 20:12

40+6

juuule · 04/04/2011 20:13

41+6 induced

NotJustKangaskhan · 04/04/2011 20:29

Went into labour at 41+6, gave birth on the morning 42 on the dot, not induced. My other two were within 2 days of their due dates.

ConfessionsOfAnAchingFanjo I'm the complete opposite - my summer ones were so miserable that I've purposefully timed this one (hopefully, God willing) to be a winter baby. My winter pregnancy was so much easier than my summer ones.

Bang on 40 weeks...which DH loves as I'm always on time for everything.
Am hoping DC2 comes on time too!

childmindermk · 04/04/2011 20:45

I had my first at 37+2, and as she weighed in at 7lb 10oz i was sooooo glad she came early! Had a fab labour of 4 hours and birth with only gas and air! I was so convinced she would be about a week late so imagine my surprise when i went in to be checked as had been having strong braxton hicks, or so i thought, to be told i was 4cm dilated! i had her 4 hours later!

It was fab as didnt get to the last few weeks and didnt have time to panic about the birth so just got on with it!
Hope yours comes slightly early too!

2tired2bewitty · 04/04/2011 20:45

Likewise 40 on the dot, though didn't actually arrive until 40 + 2 :(

CointreauVersial · 04/04/2011 20:47

41+1 with both of mine that came naturally (DD1 induced early).

WhipMeIndiana · 04/04/2011 20:48

41+4

  1. Huzzah! Do I get a prize?

Actually labour was 40 weeks, birth was 40+1.

Fumblina · 04/04/2011 20:54

erm 33. Thought I had ages to go too Wink

swingingcat · 04/04/2011 21:03

37

debka · 04/04/2011 21:05

42+2, induced. 8lb11

DD2 was induced at 40+2 and was 10lb6. Just imagine if they'd let her go to 42 weeks...

pikachu999 · 04/04/2011 21:06

40+5 when i went into labour, 41 when first DC born. And I was sure my dates were wrong, so was expecting baby sooner than that!

receiverofopiniongiver · 04/04/2011 21:12

40 to the day - 1 hr 45 minutes from first contraction to arrival - do I win? Grin

Even argued with the midwife who said 'you're not having a baby they are braxton hicks no one has their baby on their due date'.

1 hour 15 mins after this statement I was laying in stunned shock with a baby on my chest, I had believed her!!! Shock

Thaney · 04/04/2011 21:14

Desperately waiting. I'm 40 weeks tomorrow!
