Had sweep at 40+ 6 and went into labour 24 hours later with my first. Had sweep at 2.30pm, labour started at about 5pm and had the baby at 8.30pm with my third. Can't remember if I had one with my 2nd!

Had both my girls within 24 hours of having a sweep (40+7 and 40+9). Was a male doctor each time that did it, think it was his big hands!

Had sweep at 40+7, didn't work and aggravated my SPD, turned down offer of 2nd sweep at 40+9 (what with not being able to hardly walk after the 1st one), went into hospital for induction and had sweep at 40+11, didn't work, had my waters broken at 40+13.
I naively thought I would go into hospital for induction and that the baby would come that night, I had no idea I would be stuck in there for 3 days, doh Blush
