They're a terrible strain on the NHS, after all. If someone wants a bit of love and affection they should get a puppy, not expect taxpayers to fund their lifestyle choices.

Yes bloody hell, plus it's completely preventable in this day and age. People should take care.

duchesse · 24/02/2011 18:58

:)

Flisspaps · 24/02/2011 18:58

Yes.

If only people stopped having babies, all the maternity units could shut, saving us money.

Then in a few years all the paediatric units and schools could shut - saving us money.

Then after that, all the universities and public sector organisations could shut, saving even more money.

Actually you know, death is pretty damned expensive as well. People should just take themselves off into the forest when their time comes.

BoffinMum · 24/02/2011 18:59

My point exactly. It's like obesity, people after a moment's gratification ending up costing all of us lots of money.

And anyway, it's dangerous (you can die giving birth) and if you don't get pg you might get a disease as this can happen when seeking sexual gratification as well.

Why not take it a step further and just ban people.

Then we'd cost us nothing...?

I'm 28 wks with DC2 and would like to join you in your campaign to ban births. I find them to be an offence to public decency not to mention my fanjo!

duchesse · 24/02/2011 19:00

Bring back the Cathars I say. No sex, no babies, and happy to die in painful non-diseased ways.

BoffinMum · 24/02/2011 19:00

I think they should put themselves into their own recycling bin if they die. More environmentally friendly.

a moment in the lips a lifetime on the hips!

duchesse · 24/02/2011 19:01

We're going to need a considerably bigger compost bin then. I hope you're not suggesting people put themselves out on the kerb for the recycling men to collect?

duchesse · 24/02/2011 19:02

Cos that would COST MONEY.

BoffinMum · 24/02/2011 19:02

I hadn't thought of that.
Maybe there could be some sort of surveillance mechanism so the local council could see you climbing into your own bin remotely and work out a special collection was required.

OP posts:
BoffinMum · 24/02/2011 19:03

Or perhaps you wheel you own bin out and then climb in.

OP posts:
duchesse · 24/02/2011 19:03

Yeah but Boffin that would still COST MONEY!! Those dead dude disposal units don't run themselves you know.

BoffinMum · 24/02/2011 19:03

You'd have to hope a passing cat didn't put you in there for a joke, of course. That would be pretty smelly and nasty.

I came on today and every time I think " Seriously? - we can invent wireless broadband, ipods and space travel - yet we still have to put up with blood coming out of our fanjos once a month?"

It's so primitive

BoffinMum · 24/02/2011 19:04

Have you not heard of the hoover? You can sort yourself out in 5 minutes with a special nozzle and be back at your public sector desk busting a gut in no time.

OP posts:
MosEisley · 24/02/2011 19:04

ROFL at 'wheel your own bin out and then climb in'!

BoffinMum · 24/02/2011 19:05

It's the only decent thing to do.

If you were about to die in childbirth though, then you'd have a problem, because you might not fit.

OP posts:
breatheslowly · 24/02/2011 19:05

What about a one child policy? If you have more already then you will have to decide which one to keep.

BoffinMum · 24/02/2011 19:06

Can I give all mine away? They have been pretty naughty lately. And I fancy a holiday.

OP posts:
MosEisley · 24/02/2011 19:06

Oh no DH isn't home and I am going to have to put the bins out tonight. I will be feeling slightly creepy about it now.

BoffinMum · 24/02/2011 19:07

And while we are at it, can we have a one elderly relative policy, to sort that demographic time bomb out as well at the same time?
