They're a terrible strain on the NHS, after all. If someone wants a bit of love and affection they should get a puppy, not expect taxpayers to fund their lifestyle choices.

Then in a few years all the paediatric units and schools could shut - saving us money.

Actually you know, death is pretty damned expensive as well. People should just take themselves off into the forest when their time comes.

My point exactly. It's like obesity, people after a moment's gratification ending up costing all of us lots of money.

And anyway, it's dangerous (you can die giving birth) and if you don't get pg you might get a disease as this can happen when seeking sexual gratification as well.

Why not take it a step further and just ban people.

Then we'd cost us nothing...?

I'm 28 wks with DC2 and would like to join you in your campaign to ban births. I find them to be an offence to public decency not to mention my fanjo!

Bring back the Cathars I say. No sex, no babies, and happy to die in painful non-diseased ways.

I think they should put themselves into their own recycling bin if they die. More environmentally friendly.

We're going to need a considerably bigger compost bin then. I hope you're not suggesting people put themselves out on the kerb for the recycling men to collect?

Maybe there could be some sort of surveillance mechanism so the local council could see you climbing into your own bin remotely and work out a special collection was required.

Or perhaps you wheel you own bin out and then climb in.

Have you not heard of the hoover? You can sort yourself out in 5 minutes with a special nozzle and be back at your public sector desk busting a gut in no time.

And while we are at it, can we have a one elderly relative policy, to sort that demographic time bomb out as well at the same time?
