Can I have your opinion on these wooden houses please?

Can I have your thoughts on these wooden houses please? I'm looking for a second chook house - I can't possibly justify a second cube/ Forsham ark and I think an eglu would be on the small side for the 3 ex-batts which are due to arrive imminently (no future scalability ).

These seem to tick all the boxes i.e. raised off the ground, no roof felt used, tanalised timber, no nails used etc. - however would love the opinion of the MN Chicken Keeping Jury

My only concern is a) no droppings tray or scratch mat (but they'd probably make one if I asked and b) they are new to the web and therefore there is no history as to whether the houses are any good.

They do seem incredibly good value though.

Port Loe or St.Loy Millie I need to get a grip, I am turning into a chicken housing obsessive!

I personally think it's a bit odd that the nest boxes are higher than the perches, as from what I gather, this usually means the hens will sleep in the nest boxes and ten they will get full of droppings, which might be a pain.

Good point midori thanks. Arrgh - this buying a house business is not going to be straightforward

I got really excited looking at that, I don't even know if we are going to get chickens.
