What do you do with your chicken poo?!

We have had ours a year or so and have filled 2 huge compost bins...running out of ideas to dispose of it. What do you all do? Thanks!

Put it on the veg patch and dig it in. We dont store it.

Mine goes in the brown council bin, that takes all compostable stuff. Apart from all the manure they dig in to the lawn, borders, veg patch....

Our veg patch is small and full! We don't have a brown council bin.

I take mine to my allotment plot and grow huge pumpkins on it. The other plot holders beg to share when I have some spare. Do you have an allotment nearby?

Thats not a bad idea, my neighbour uses an allotment, its a long drive away but I could ask her. Thanks allstarprincess!

I advertise it on freecycle as I have about 6 black bins full when I do a major clean.

It goes into the bin. It's too strong to use on the plants and you can end up by using too much and turning the soil nasty.

if you're worried it's getting too much for your heap, then throw the grass cuttings on top, then pour hot water (not boiling because you'll kill the brandlings) on it. that reduces it.

butyeah, i'd do the freecycling thing too.
