I'm going through the archives adn I remembered that you were full of advice when I posted a while back.
I'm wondering if there is a good dual-purpose chicken we can raise from day-old chick or young pullet, some for eggs and some for the table.
I have the space to raise 10-15 at a time semi-free-range, with a seperate area for the layers, as they will be on different food and need nesting boxes etc.
Do you have any breed recommendations or words of wisdom?
