Congratulations new-chicken-mummy!! How are they settling in. I love their names!

Congrats on your new chickens! Super names and lovely breeds.

I can understand your excitement - I might have to wait 2 years to get my chickens and I smile every time I add to the chicken plans.

Hehe, thank you!

I am so very excited, they are mesmerising, only 10-12 weeks so small and fluffy things. They were usherd into the hen house earlier and went and perched on their own, so happy with them. Feel all Felicity Good-lifey at the moment lol.

Cant wait to get up in the morning!

Try this site if you want any tips or health information, the people are friendly too.

Don't forget to worm them and don't rely on the mite powders you buy from agricultural stores to get rid of any external parasites. Apparently frontline kitten strength does the job.

Congratulations on getting your chickens. Life will never quite be the same again.

Congratiulations! So exciting

I pick up my first (dh is already accepting that these will not be the last!) four on Friday. I can't wait.

BabyDubsEverywhere · 31/05/2010 22:39

We very nearly had 4 too, but starting with three, will be getting more when we move next year hopefully. Trying to convince Dh that we need rabbits now so they all grow up together and get along lol, not having much luck at the mo but as ive just agreed to another puppy we will see what next month brings.

I really am excited about getting up in the morning, feels like santa will have been!
