mycoplasma, how infectious?

One of my girls has mycoplasma and is going to have to go to the coop in ther sky. will the others all get it now

I've no idea Ditavonteesed but I'm sorry to hear that you're going to lose one of your girls.

thanks, been doing a lot of reading about it, sounds like most flocks have it dormant and it comes out on weak hens or at times of stress, so hopefully the others will be ok.

Build the rest of your flock up by: adding finely chopped garlic (garlic is highly antibacterial and antiviral) to their feed or adding sliced cloves to their water, adding some poultry spice to their feed, giving shredded apple to them and feeding some natural yoghurt. You can buy echinacea to give them as well, but you'd have to search for that on the 'net as the only echinacea I know of comes in tablet form from the health food store.

Thoroughly clean the coop with some poultry shield or bleach or a steam cleaner and sprinkle some stalosan f down in the coop/run - you can buy this from agricultural suppliers or over the internet.

Sorry your hen is sick.
