Chicken arcs

I'm looking at buying an arc that had the accommodation above the run. Can anyone who has one of these confirm that they are suitable for their chickens. They look as if there is not enough head height by my DH assures me that they wouldn't sell them if they weren't suitable. I'm looking at a 6footx4.5 foot one for 3-4 hens.

thanks

My cube accomodation is partly over the run - it's also got an area which is open to sky, which is lovely as they like to sunbathe. When the weather's grotty we put a shower curtain over it!

Never assume that because something Is sold for a purpose, that it has to be suitable! have a look at the ones for sale on eBay, there is a good selection, and avoid triangular runs, when the hens peck into the edges, they will damage their combs on the wire. Overhead accommodation is good as the set up takes up less room. I like the look of the ones that have a square house with a ramp at one end of the run, they can get under for shelter and also sunbathe.
