Do hens poo less when they're laying?

Cos mine seem to.
The first week I had them they produced mountains of the stuff but they've slowed right down now.
When I read the threads on here about disadvantages of having chickens the poo all over the garden seemed to be a big one.... but lately they haven't done much.

no, they're probably digging it into the flooring (as they're scratching around it gets buried rather)

glad they're laying though!! eggs galore for tea!

Ah yes, I see. They are certainly scratching up more of the moss grass than they were before.
Digging it in is fine too as it will fertilise the lawn.
They're laying v nicely - 2 a day on average, from 3 hens (2 hybrid and one pure breed) which keeps us nicely supplied & is sooner than I was expecting them to get to that level of productivity.

I love my chickens
