Have 9 hens and the cockeral that I had a few months ago has suddenly started picking on one of them. I'm having to put at least 3/4 piles of food out as he just chases her off when she tries to eat. He won't let her into the group when they're free-ranging either. He was fine with her until her 'best friend' died suddenly the other week then after that he just turned on her.
She's obviously getting quite distressed now and tbh so am I. Any ideas/thoughts on what's brought this on or steps I can take to sort it out?
