I got 3, 2 Gingernut Rangers and a light Sussex as planned!
DD said 'I think we should have got some more then we could have turned the other ones into chicken nuggets and kept these' - obv she is a country girl at heart.

They're wandering up and down their run now, so far none of them has actually tried to go in the Eglu (will do the torch thing at dusk).
The Sussex strikes me as a bit dim as I gave them a handful of raisins but she didn't notice... or maybe she just doesn't like raisins.

We want some that are good for laying and eating. Possibly Sussex, but didn't realise they came in light form. Need to do more research I think.

Do yours look happy? I have been practising making the perfect ommelette so as to be ready

to be honest I don't know if it refers to the colour or weight! It's white with black bits though.

Am hoping to perfect my omelette technique this summer once they all start laying (touch wood).
