How to stop them flying!

Ok, we have clipped her wings, we have raised the fence to 6 ft, we have threatened her with the pot even....but still she flies over into the neighbours garden and 'makes a mess and digs up the plants'

Help!? Am despairing of her...

Anyone have a fail safe method apart from roofing the run which isn't really possible as the area is too big.

Lordy - no idea. I was coming on to explain wing clipping, having read your title but I see you do it already!

How about cutting the flight feathers on both wings?

6ft would be an impressive leap then!

She isn't getting a leg up from any nearby walls, dustbins or other garden furniture is she?

tie her to something?

i dunno...not got ours yet but will prob have similar issues as I don't like the sound of clipping (being a wuss, sure it doesn't harm them!)

Have thought about trimming both wings but am not sure it will help. Mind you I suppose it can't make her any worse. Just had the witch from next door complaining again. I did say short of tying the stupid hen down, we were trying everything but she has a sense of humour failure. Now she's moaning about noise too.
