Hi I've got six chickens. Still quite young only one has started laying. They are in a 11 ft by 11ft run and wooden house. I let them out to free range in our acre and a half garden. They love that but I know come the spring they will annoy the neighbours and me digging up veg and plants etc. Also I don't know how I will find eggs. I don't know whether to get a run I can move around or fence off a bigger area of the garden. Current small run is permanent. Fancy an eglu cube of course. Current wooden house leeks and is v tricky to clean.
