Poor buggers, they were not fattened for Christmas so whoever took them will not get a good meal, and some of them were ancient. The poachers were seen and had guns, so were not tackled.

The five left are looking very subdued.

Poor geese

x 15!

One was found wandering in the road a mile or so away and taken to a rescue centre.

Bloody hell - the word poaching sounds almost romantic - feckin' THIEVING where I come from!

Have you got a plan to tighten security, Marsbar? Is there much you can do?

They are semi-feral - live in a field with a big lake and island - which is all frozen solid at the mo.

B***s knew we were away, I think.

Short of sitting there with a shotgun myself, there isn't much I can do.

D'ya think I should get the A Team in? (this years' favourite retro dvd with the dc's)
