New keeper-can i put hen arc on concrete ?

I am collecting my 2 girls later today 9sooooo excited ).
Will it be ok to put them on the patio so i can jet wash it regularly instead of the grass which sounds a nightmare for poo cleaning !.
Ill let them out onto grass daily when im out pottering . Should i maybe put straw or hay down for them ?.

I'm guessing you've already got them, so what have you done?

Does your arc have a base? I would put straw down or hay for them or wood-shavings.

We have some that potter around during the day and then go back to bed when it's dusk, it's lovely.

Yes we got them and they are so lovely .
On the concrete but have straw down in their bedroom !
Chicken poo all over the concrete but i guess its easily washed down .
We went to put them to bed and they`d gone all by themselves first night - clever girls !

i would advise shavings over the concrete...

gives them a base to scratch around in, and makes cleaning easier
