DH wants chickens for his birthday and I'd like to buy him a decent book about chicken keeping. His dad has chickens so it's not entirely new to him, but he has loads of land and tons of birds! We are looking at getting 3-4.
Is there a chicken keeping 'bible' that would be good to buy? I'll no doubt be popping back with more questions and stories over the coming months. Oh, his birthday is in Oct, would it be better to wait until Spring to get the chickens?
