help! Looking after friends hens and they seem to be off their food

What can/should I do? Any kitchen scraps I give them they seem to eat, although I decided to stop giving them 2 days ago to see if that was the reason they weren't eating their chicken feed, but I checked on them this morning and last nights corn is still there along with yesterday mornings feed.

chuck them a can of sweetcorn

if they gobble it down then they are fine

they would always prefer scraps over there normal food

just came on to update I didn't put any breakfast out for them this morning, and went round with some sweetcorn,bread and celery for them at tea time, they had eaten most of their food that they had left, which was a relief and loved the food I put down for them. thanks TR
